My Human-Centered Machine Learning (HuMaLearn) team works on integrating users within ML-based systems. In particular, we propose ways to enforce domain knowledge constraints into models, to improve the interpretability of models and the explainability of decisions, to manipulate models interactively and to improve the trustworthiness and robustness of ML-based systems. We also work on applications such as sign language recognition, Industry 4.0, smart sensors, astronomical data analysis, etc.
