Keve

Elif Keve is an Architect and Sustainable Building Engineer with nearly ten years of multidisciplinary and international experience across architecture, engineering, construction, BIM, digital technologies, and sustainable design. She holds a Master's degree in Environmental and Sustainable Building Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Engineering at Sapienza University in collaboration with Areti – ACEA Group. Her professional experience includes BIM modelling, digital twins, Scan-to-BIM, laser scanning, point-cloud processing, computational design, construction coordination, and technical project development. She has worked in Türkiye, Italy, and the United States and has collaborated with multidisciplinary international teams in both industry and academia.

Her research interests focus on sustainable, resilient, and human-centred built environments, with particular emphasis on the integration of BIM, digital twins, smart materials, energy systems, and digital technologies. Her current Ph.D. research explores energy efficiency and flexibility in buildings and energy communities and their interaction with the electricity distribution grid.

Other research interests include low-carbon and zero-waste materials, sustainable and resilient construction, adaptive reconstruction in post-disaster environments, computational and parametric design, and digitalisation of the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry. She is also interested in the application of emerging technologies such as AI, computer vision, data-driven methods, and digital twins to improve the performance, safety, sustainability, and adaptability of buildings and infrastructure.
