Ratha SIV earned his engineering degree in computer science at Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) in 2016. In the same year after his graduation, he received a scholarship abroad to pursue his master’s degree in engineering under the research interest of 3D human face reconstruction at Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Indonesia. After his graduation in 2018, he joined ITC as a lecturer-researcher for several months before he received a scholarship for his PhD at UMONS, Belgium, under the supervision of Prof. Bernard GOSSELIN and Dr. Matei Mancas, PhD. The research focuses on people and crowd analysis using different approaches which enable him to gain experiences in machine learning and deep learning techniques such as people detecting, tracking, and re-identifying.
Ratha currently works on APTITUDE and MUSE, particularly on deep learning models and toolboxes.
