Cedric Simar

Cédric Simar, M.Sc., is a doctoral researcher at the Machine Learning Group, Université Libre de Bruxelles, where he also serves as a teaching assistant for courses in Statistical Foundations of Machine Learning, Big Data, Programming, and Algorithms. He is additionally a lecturer at the University of Mons for Artificial Intelligence and Brain-Computer Interfaces. Simar's interdisciplinary research focuses on applying advanced machine learning techniques like convolutional neural networks and Riemannian geometry to brain-computer interfaces (BCI), electrophysiological diagnostic tools, and prosthesis control.
