Pierre Dagnely completed his PhD in 2019 on "Scalable Performance Assessment of Industrial Assets: A Data Mining Approach", an applied research project focusing on combining event logs and sensor data for performance assessment. Since then, he has been working as a data scientist at Sirris, contributing to a wide range of fields including matchmaking, predictive maintenance, image analysis, and anomaly detection.
As part of the ARIAC project, Pierre focuses on three key areas:
First Time Right in advanced manufacturing, aiming to ensure high-end product quality by leveraging process data;
the well-being of human operators in human-machine interactions, with the goal of achieving zero defects and zero accidents;
collaboration between humans and AI, through the development of interactive, human-in-the-loop algorithms, user-assistance systems (AI-in-the-loop), and explainable AI solutions.
