Charlotte completed a Bachelor and Master degrees in biomedical sciences at UMons before doing a Master degree in Bioinformatics and Modelling at ULB. She worked 4 years as a teaching assistant at the Informatics Department at ULB while pursuing her research on genetic diseases. With the ARIAC funding, she will work on the use of artificial intelligence to extract biomedical relations directly from the scientific articles, more particularly relations between genes and mutation in complex genetic diseases.
