Bertrand Braeckeveldt

With a PhD in fundamental physics from the University of Mons, I decided to direct my research towards a more practical field. That's why I joined Multitel in early 2024, to contribute my mathematical and programming expertise in the field of uncertainty quantification in AI.

The aim of my research is to estimate the uncertainty in AI models, which may come from the data or from the model itself. This helps to determine when a model's prediction should be rejected or verified by a human expert. Another aspect of my research concerns the calibration of these models in order to provide confidence levels that reflect the actual performance of the models.
