Andrea Tanzer

Andrea Tanzer is a bioinformatician in the fields of computational genomics and works at the interface of Biology/Chemistry/Computer Science. Her research focuses on non-coding RNAs, their function, structure and evolution. Recent project include studies on the role of RNA structures in regulating the Epitranscriptome as well as the evolution and expression of lncRNA host genes and their associated small RNAs.
