Jonathan Samelson

Jonathan Samelson obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Institut Paul Lambin (IPL), during which he participated in an Erasmus exchange program at the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT). He graduated from UCLouvain in January 2020 where he obtained a Master’s degree in computer science with a specialization in artificial intelligence. His master’s thesis applied deep learning to the detection and tracking of railways in satellite images.

Jonathan works as a research assistant on the APTITUDE project with a particular focus on deep learning aspects.
